Zinc Spray
Also known as thermal metal spraying and hot zinc spraying.
Zinc spraying produces a smooth highly adhesive layer onto which powder coating applies well. There are several considerations to be taken into account when using this process which may not make it suitable for some applications or budgets.
The basis for this process is to prepare the surface by shot blasting which we also do.
Caution. We do not recommend Zinc Spraying for hollow sections that require full corrosion protection as it does not cover the internal surfaces.
