All our powder coating materials are the highest quality architectural products. Generally we use Syntha Pulvin products although we have close links with a number of suppliers to give you the broadest range of choice of standard colours, metallic finishes, gloss level and specification.
Syntha Pulvin, Akzo Nobel (Interpon) and Tiger Coatings are most commonly applied powders.
Powder coating is a factory applied paint which takes place after pre-treatment and before curing when it is heated to a metal temperature of 200 degrees C, turning the powder from a flour-like consistency to a smooth, hard film. It is a common misconception that the more powder used to give a thicker film thickness, the better. Depending on the application and performance requirements there is no need for a film thicker than 80 microns (0.08mm) and if the thickness exceeds 200 microns (0.2mm) there can be a detrimental effect on performance.
