Finish: Architectural balustrade top rail to galvanized steel posts.
Project Overview:
Waterstone Park is a mixed development of apartments and townhouses, many of which have a balcony. The balcony steelwork is left as a galvanized finish and the top rail or handrail around the balcony is made of extruded aluminium tube finished in Powdertech Wood Finish.
Project Details:
A total of 850 linear metres of 70mm diameter handrail was finished in Powdertech Wood Finish. Curved and straight sections pre-cut to fix directly to the pre-installed balustrade balcony posts.
The project required quick turnaround of the batches of material to make sure that the project was not delayed at the critical final installation phase.
Benefits:
Using Powdertech Wood Finish gives the handrail a long, maintenance-free life with the look of real wood.
